FUNGICIDE BELYAN
Belyan is a fungicide used in soybean and cotton crops. Our goal was to create a new Key Visual (KV) for the product and develop iconography that highlighted its benefits. The project required a high level of realism in the visuals, especially with the leaves, which became the main creative challenge.

Our biggest obstacle was making the 3D leaves look realistic. We went through several rounds of testing to find the ideal texture, using both photographic and procedural options. Particle simulation also posed challenges, particularly in getting the size and placement of the particles to look natural. While we considered photogrammetry alongside the 3D modeling and sculpting, it wasn’t feasible due to the lack of real leaves to work with.
The learning came from the many attempts to achieve the desired realism. We used reference photos of leaves at different stages, from fresh to aged, to capture crucial details like texture, color, and how they react to light.
